Dr. Anastasia Ulanowicz, University of Florida

Received her PhD in English from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and is currently an associate professor at the University of Florida. While at Pittsburgh, she received an Andrew W. Mellon Pre-Doctoral Fellowship. Her book Second-Generation Memory and Contemporary Children’s Literature: Ghost Images, which explores the relationships between cultural notions of childhood, memory, and the intergenerational, was published in 2013. Her research interests include children’s literature and media, 20th-century American literature, trauma theory, and religion and literature.
